The "Ukraine Without Pain" project announces the launch of a large-scale, two-phase rehabilitation specialist training program. This is a key element in the strategy to establish a national pain management system, directly aimed at overcoming the shortage of qualified personnel needed to work with military and civilian patients suffering from war trauma.

Phase 1: Mass Online Training

The first phase is a publicly accessible online course designed to quickly and effectively upgrade the skills of a large number of medical professionals across the country.

The course is already published and actively functioning via this link:  https://official.doctorthinking.org/painfrm.

Currently, over 1,100 doctors have registered for the training. Of these, 500 specialists have successfully passed the final testing and received certificates, validating their knowledge in rehabilitation and pain management. This training provides a broad knowledge base and unifies approaches to rehabilitation care, which is the foundation for the systemic transformation promoted by the "Ukraine Without Pain" initiative.

Phase 2: In-Depth Practical Training and Leadership Development

The second phase involves intensive, hands-on practical training for the top graduates of the online course:

  • 60 top specialists who demonstrate the highest results during the online testing will be selected for the in-person (offline) training.

  • Practical training and masterclasses will take place at a specialized Medical Center in Vinnytsia.

The in-person phase will provide deep immersion into clinical practices and interventional pain management skills, enabling these 60 specialists to become leading regional experts and trainers. In this way, the program prepares personnel capable of implementing modern treatment protocols. This is a fundamental prerequisite for the sustainable and self-sufficient national pain management system envisioned by the "Ukraine Without Pain" initiative.
