From February 24 to 28, a team from the Municipal Enterprise Poltava Regional Clinical Hospital named after M.V. Sklifosovskyi — consisting of 10 professionals of different specialties and led by Deputy Chief Physician Oleksandr Oliinyk — is participating in a specialized training course, “Pain Management in Patients with Combat Injuries,” at Feofaniya Clinical Hospital.
This educational initiative became possible thanks to the collaboration of Feofaniya Hospital, the NGO Ukrainian Association of Vascular Access, the charitable foundation Nova Ukraine, and the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
This is already the second training stream within this program, which is implemented under the principle of “team teaching team.” Such a format makes it possible to effectively adapt modern pain treatment methods to real clinical practice.
Twelve leading experts from Feofaniya, including members of the Ukrainian Association of Regional Analgesia and Pain Therapy (accredited in Europe), are sharing their knowledge and practical experience.
The training program includes theoretical lectures, analysis of clinical cases, practice of treatment algorithms, and significant hands-on work in operating room conditions. Special attention is given to modern pain management technologies, including minimally invasive surgical methods and the latest approaches to anesthesia.
The knowledge gained will allow our doctors to immediately apply it in practice, providing highly specialized care, particularly to the wounded.
We are grateful to international partners, philanthropists, and colleagues for supporting and developing Ukrainian medicine!
